Another digital dress up doll, much in the style of my previous.
The character is from an image of preview art for the upcoming Castlevania game for the Nintendo DS. Even though I didn't find the character design as intersting as the one I used for Another Code, she is much more adult, and had a uniform design that proved to be an interesting challenge to recreate in flash. Because she is a more adult character, I could do a few more sexier costumes for her -though my favorite bit of clothing I created was actually the ankle length skirt.
The basic means used to create this piece were much like the other. Using Konami's artwork to trace from, I created a basic body model (easter egg hint), then did each bit of clothing as a movie clip. Although it is impossible to tell from a user perspective, the action script used this time was much smarter than previous, which allowed me to do a few more things (more clothing items, and the 'closet' concept).
If and when I do another dress up doll, I'm going to try and do something a little more creative. A lot of the digital dolls I've come across that I've really liked had various interactive elements in the background that almost made it a game in itself. I might try giving that a go in the future, but I have other things to finish up on first.
I had to actually look up on Google to find out just what exactly Habbo was, since until this moment, I'd never heard of the site.
I'll have to turn down the invitation to Habbo, though, since it seems like a very teen oriented social networking site (with language filters and moderators and so forth), and a thirty-something guy like myself would probably look pretty creepy hanging around there (especially if it involved anything 'dirty' and 'sexy' ).
I almost never turn down direct correspondence, so you can always message me directly from here, or my normal email address at akito01@yahoo.com

The easter egg isn't as much fun here as in the original version I did for myself.
The joke may be a bit spoiled since Nintendo changed their advertising for the DS some time ago.
here is some stuff to improve:
more outfits
diffrent hairstyles
add some accerzorize for example: Handbag, Jewlery, Ribbon in hair
